Radio Times

TV publications like tv guides have been around for a longtime now but there are'nt many that have stood the test of time like the RADIOTIMES,It is more than just a simple TV & radio guide it has news and review as well as interviews and lots of interesting facts about just about anything,ive been picking a copy up now for the past 14 months and even tho I dont actualy watch much tv at all I like reading the interviews and learning more about what happen behind the scenes whilst filming is takeing place.

For this review im useing the 4-11 november 2006 edition which has a lovely picture of a penguin on the front cover and the title PLANET EARTH (how much closer to nature can telivision get?) I thought this is a brilliant title as the truth is we are getting closer to wildlife now than we ever have before and yet there is so much more we can learn from wildlife and there eco systems as we are selfs are noticeing a little to late with the are slowly perishing ozone layer and increaseing bills.

With the RADIOTIMES everything is set up really well we have agood contents page at the front which includes a letter from the editor, on the right is a FEATURES listing which is usualy pages 4 - 41 and contains everything from review to interviews and behind the scenes previews of new films and series,at the bottom of the page we have a LISTINGS section,this includes listings for films (includeing satalite and cable) and the rateing given to them out of 5 stars,secondly we have the telivision listing useing the same 5 star rateing system starting from saturday and running to friday then last but not least we have the radio section this is the only section out of the three that doesnt use the 5 star system.

The conntents page is the part I always look at first as you can find everything you want really easly with out flicking through the pages trying to find the article or listing you need.
The best thing about RADIOTIMES is theres always something to read and learn about,im not into dramas but found myself starting to read the preview on such a series and the next thing you know im watching the bloody thing on tv lol,the reviews are really good as well as the interviews and im not just talking about small series acters interviews either.

If you ever struggle finding when a film or new series is on I really do recomend you purchase the RADIOTIMES Each area has a different version 2 e.g northwest , southeast so you no you are definatly going to turn over at the right time and find the listing on the channel and for the 98p asking price what more can you ask for.

Overall im giveing RADIOTIMES 5/5 stars and my parents think the same as im always looking for the thing in there room.
