Railroad Tycoon III (PC)

Having just bought a new PC and being the computer geek that I am I decided that we needed a new game in the house. Visiting PC World is never fun, but there we found ourselves buying some virus stopper thing for said PC. Ah, I say to myself, I’ll just have a quick look at the games…… 30 minutes later and I appear at the checkout with virus thing and a copy of Railroad Tycoon 3. I've always been addicted to management sims and I've spent alot of wasted hours on bad ones. You don't get many good management/tycoon games and when one comes along it can sweep you up and keep you locked away for weeks. Railroad tycoon 3 follows on from one of the best and most succesful tycoon series ever. Alot of detail goes into making these games and it shows in every aspect of the game. From micro-management to graphic detail this is the best tycoon game available right now. The game objective is simple build rails around many places of the world and make profit. Railroad Tycoon 3 This game was released on PC-CD format in 2003 by Mastertronic and carries on with the railway antics everyone loved in its predecessor, Railroad Tycoon II. Being in 3D though, gives this game a lot more depth and fun and with new trains, cargo, levels and economics this game is a worthwhile upgrade. The game comes with two discs and the PC Gamer/Sold Out version I purchased had no paper manual, but did have the .pdf version on disc. The first railroad tycoon game that I ever played on was railroad tycoon 2 for the play station 1 when that was the most up to date games console money could buy (now I feel very old *laughs*). Since then i suppose in reality not that much has changed in regard to the game, but that is a good thing. The game has managed to keep its originality and good features from the previous game whilst still adding more. The Aim of the Game...
