I tend to not like the musky, heavy scents and pretty much am the market target when it comes to light sporty scents introduced by the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas and Ralph Lauren. Polo Sport for Women is very similar to Tommy Hilfiger Girl but it is a fresher and more wearable scent.
I generally do not use perfume except for special occasions, but this scent is light enough that it is not out of place to be smelled wearing it with just a t-shirt and jeans. (I otherwise generally tend to think of perfume as a formal accessory). It can be described as sporty fresh I suppose. It is similar to woman type sport deodorants but of course the lasting power and initial strength of the scent is much stronger with the perfume.
As for lasting quality, I find that Polo Sport wears off after about two hours worth of wearing but then I have yet to find a perfume that lasts all day! The scent is so light and fresh that it becomes more pleasant as the strength fades anyway.
The price is reasonable as far as perfume goes, about £30 for a 150ml bottle and the bottle is a nice youthful looking design with a pump spray for easy use. My bottle is two years old and the scent is still as strong as it was so I can safely say it has a good shelf life.
As far as middle of the road price range/scent range's go, Ralph Lauren Polo Sport for Women is nice, clean and fresh smelling and I can recommend it to someone looking for an everyday wear perfume.

I first tried Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Woman when a friend bought me the body lotion for Christmas. Until then, I had been wearing Cacharel Eau D’Eden, and loved the smell, but always found the eau de toilette itself felt slightly oily on my skin and had been known to stain high necked tops. The Polo Sport body lotion in itself was lovely, and once I realised that it was quite similar in fragrance to the Eau D’Eden I didn’t hesitate in buying ... ...around the bottom, and the Ralph Lauren logo – an American flag with the stars replaced by the letters ‘RL’ – together with the name, at the top. Inside the box is a frosted glass bottle with the same logo. The bottle is plain and simple with no curves or contours and an attractive silver lid with spray attachment underneath.

I received the Ralph Lauren Polo Sport for women as a present for my birthday a couple of months ago and it’s still going strong today. I do like sports and use it quite a lot after a session in the gym but don’t worry you don’t have to be sporty to use it. The smell is really nice, it’s quite strong and therefore lasts a long time, suitable for everyday use or in my case to freshen up after the gym. Although, I don’t ... ...Paul Gaultier or even the Ralph Lauren Romance, it’s got more that sporty look, with the tall long bottle stance.
It’s more of a deodorant shape with a much better and I must add expensive scent, that lasts. It is easy to carry around and unlike your perfumes, this is a bottle that you can around.
The Ralph Lauren Polo Sport costs around £22 and is definitely worth paying for. The scent is natural and fresh but also at the same time ...

Polo Sport for Women by Ralph Lauren really is a gorgeous perfume. It is perfect for wearing day and night and the light, flowery fragrance is really, really nice. It is definetely a must for every girl. The boys also seem to like the smell as every time i wear it my boyfriend can't keep his hands to himself and he spends half the day smelling me!!! If you want a good night out, get yourself some!!! I don't know what i would do without the stuff ...

This fragrance was bought back from a holiday for me a year or so ago... and the bottle has only just finished. It is, for me personally, a perfect purfume, as it is light enough for day time "everyday" use, but also sexy and intense enough for an evening scent. A fresh, invigorating scent that captures the spirit of fitness, Polo Sport is the ideal all-over body fragrance for a more subtle impression. The convenient spray releases just the right ... ...This is they type of fragrance you can apply in the morning, and not even have to think about reapplying during the day, because it simply lasts and lasts! Although it is not cheap at roughly £25 for a "regular" sized bottle, it is not what i would class as an expensive fragrance. It lasts all day, so there is no real need to reapply and it can be overpowering if sprayed to liberally, so this bottle will last a long time!

I have Ralph Lauren Polo Sport in my perfume collection and it’s one of my favourites.
The fragrances is light, fruity and fresh more for the sport outdoors type of person. I’d say that this perfume is for everyday use as it’s not a glamorous evening scent. It’s defiantly would appeal to the younger women.
It comes in a white rectangle box with the Ralph Lauren symbol (tiny USA flag) on the front. The bottle is slim made ... ...silver pull off cap it also has the USA flag on the front.
I have found the scent not to be very long lasting so you would need to keep reapplying often. Sizes and prices are as follows:

I started using Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger.when it was just launched. I used it as an alternative to RalphLauren's PoloSport for Women. I still prefer using Tommy Girl when I need a lightly scented fragrance to spray on after I come from the showers after a gym session.
It's a little bit pricey and I admit that I used to pay the full retail price for a 50 ml. bottle of Tommy Girl. I then discovered that the manufacturer of Designer Impostor Perfumes offered a Tommy Girl replica in their spray on cologne and deodorant line. Since Designer Impostor is cheaper and doesn't leave the same powdery feel when it's sprayed, I opted to buy the Tommy Girl replica. But for those who don't mind spending on a casual fragrance, and if you like the scent of Tommy Girl, I suggest that you purchase the true thing and pay for the full retail price. ...
