Ramada Red Portugal

As a student and big fan of red wine, I was first attracted to Ramada by its exceptional promotional price of 2.99 at my local Co-op. From the first my whole house-hold were ardent admirers of the brand, and have converted many others to our cause. The wine has the unusual quality of having an interesting and subtle flavour, as opposed to the tartness or blandness of the ordinary cheaper wine, which improves upon the palate and increases in smoothness on further drinking. we went to a portgugese restaurant and we sampled this red wine there, its a very smooth, dry wine that has a delicious soft fruit and a lingering finish. its not expensive wine in the supermarket, but in the restaurant it was very expensive. if you are going onto red wine for the first time i would recommend this ramada,its was internation wine challenge 1999 also red wine off the year 2002.me and my husband drink alot off red wine and we can honestly say it is a very good red wine for the money. our daughter from york brought us a large box full off this red wine , i have passed some on to ... more
