Advantages: It looks pretty Disadvantages: It doesn't work
I purchased my beautiful cream RangemasterSXS fridge freezer in October 2008. I could have bought a comparible model in a different make for far less money, but I wanted a Cream one (and it matched my range cooker)Was originally promised delivery for 21st-24th October - eventually it was delivered on 28th November.
I looked beautiful. Gave filtered water and cubed or crushed ice. Really impressive for the Christmas visitors. Had a slight problem in middle of 2009 which the freezer temperature light was flashing but units still working. Engineer arrived and replaced sensor. All was well.
UNTIL 30th October 2009 I came home to find large pool of water on floor. All lights still illuminated. Food ruined over weekend. Engineer arrived on Tuesday 3rd November - diagnosed compressor faulty. Returned with replacement compressor ...
Advantages: very spacious with loads of shelves, an ice/water dispenser and very energy efficient Disadvantages: Quite expensive
It is often quite hard to tell what is a good and what is a bad fridge. Advantages: See Review Disadvantages: NOT self cleaning..?!!
Background

In an ideal world, where money was no object, I would have loved to have bought an Aga - but sadly budgetary constraints ruled out this extravagance. My sister-in-law already had a Rangemaster and I had liked the look, size and functionality of it and so this was what I ended up buying.
The Cooker
It is a dual fuel cooker, with two fan assisted electric ovens, an electric grill and a five burner gas hob. It can be installed to use either mains/natural gas or L.P. Gas.
My cooker is black with chrome handles and trim?.pretty sleek looking for a cooker, if you like that sort of thing! It is also available in racing green, cream and ivory, all with either chrome ...
