I almost forgot to say that it comes with a plate warmer for the tall oven (I hate to call it the second oven as it is just as good as the main one) a griddle, a wok support and a roasting tin which hangs on a rack on the oven door. I have only used the griddle out of all of these but I'm sure they'll be of use to someone! ...that they may keep the house heated like an AGA - it's just a cooker, so no it won't, but it will add all the style of an AGA to your kitchen.
I really cannot praise this cooker enough - I'm one happy bunny!
I cook from home for a living so a large capacity, reliable and versatile cooker is a must for me - the fact that it also looks absolutely stunning is an added bonus.
Where do I start singing this cooker's praises? I love absolutely everything about it. My model is dual fuel and the hob runs on LPG while the rest of the cooker is electric. The hob is efficient and there are four different sizes of burners - one of them is officially for a wok but is brilliant for very large preserving pans. It also comes complete with a griddle.
The grill is larger than most and its biggest advantage is that it is independant of both ovens; it cooks very evenly though it does take some time to reach full heat. I find that it makes a very useful warming oven for plates when the oven beneath it is in use. Both ovens are fan assisted - something which I have never seen in another cooker - and this means that you don't have to try to remember two different temperature settings for everything you cook. The ovens are also extremely spacious - I can fit in 18 1lb loaf tins or 20 6" flan cases at a time! I will admit to having to move things around during cooking to obtain even browning but that is only when the ovens are packed - for day to day cooking I cannot fault it. (I will also say that this is the third cooker that I have used professionally and neither of the others, although both fan assisted, came anywhere near the performance of this one)
Just a word of warning - you will probably have to invest in some new ovenware to fit into the second oven which is tall and thin. When you do, however, you will find that the options for cooking multiply enormously -I was amazed by how often I use the second oven in preferance to the main one (something which I never did when the second oven was tiny and not fan assisted)
This cooker is extremely well made and sturdy and one thing which I particularly like is the fact that the oven door closes are magnetic. (I know you're not supposed to close the oven door with your foot but we all do it!) It comes in a range of colours (much like an AGA) and a choice of chrome or gold trim; there are also various other ranges in the Rangemaster catalogue which offer the same features but different doors/trim etc.

...and tel number for the Rangemaster Company who were going to make the oven for me from scratch (which if you didn't know is part of the Aga group - can't get much better!).
A quick and easy call to Rangemaster confirmed a morning time to a specific delivery date.
Delivery
The morning arrived!
I was awoken at 7.45am by the sounds of a deisel engine outside. Quickly whipping on my trousers and shirt (to hide my modesty) I was greated by two immaculaly ... ...shoes (stelle toecaps?)!! Two minutes later the very polite gentlemen had placed (please note - never dragged) the oven in our dinning room ready for installation. One of the gentlemen discussed helpdesk numbers with my partner and then smartishly left.
Installation
The installation was as easy as easy could be. If you could not follow the instructions then you should not be installing it, get someone who knows what they are doing! (GAS and Electric ...

Advantages: Capacious ovens Disadvantages: Strange extra shelves and dangerous doors
...because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable.
So yes, a good cooker, but not without issues to my mind! ...

The Rangemaster Classic 90 in Dual Fuel really is an outstanding cooker.
We went for the matt black version with chrome trim and it is a great focal point to our kitchen.
It has 5 gas burners - 1 small, 2 medium, and 1 large, plus a double burner which as it name suggests is wonderful when wok cooking.
It has 2 electric fan ovens, 1 of which is tall and houses 4 racks plus a plate rack. It also has a large separate grill, with browning elements. ... ...(with roasting tray) which is fixed (can be removed) to the oven door and makes basting easy.
The cooker has a temperature which is useful and a clock, which allows you to programme meals ready for your arrival home.
Delivery was just 2 weeks, although the Splash Back took longer for some reason.
Check out the location of cupboards before you buy, as there are some strange fitting requirements from Corgi fitters. ...

Quick review of Rangemaster Classic 90
Have had this cooker 22 months, no problems until this week when the fan in the small oven failed. The small oven heats up very quickly, the large oven slower but still fast compared to my previous cooker. The rangemaster still looks new even after almost 2 years. With regards to the fan failure, I was never confident it would last as it was noisy, as is the fan in the main oven. The cooker is guaranteed for two years. In view of the failure I may take out an extended guarantee. ...

Advantages: it works and looks good Disadvantages: has really bad controls
I bought the Toledo (90 cms wide) as it was about the only range cooker with both gas hobs and more importantly a gas oven. (The second oven is electric).
The range is delivered and installed by Rangemaster who are both very good with their communications for arranging a date and time and very good with delivery. As my building work was incomplete they did not install it but installation is reasonably simple.
It is very much a cooker which does what it claims to do. The hob arrangement is slightly counter productive with both the simmer and highest rated rings both at the front. The non stick griddle sits on two gas rings and works well but it would have been more convenient if it were designed to sit on the wok burner.
The grill is very efficient and the gas oven works well.
The second oven is a strange appendage. It is not really wide ...
Advantages: Looks great, two different ovens, 5 hobs, cleans easily Disadvantages: Expensive
When I moved into my new house (a new build on a new development) the kitchen came with the impressive kitchen beast that I like to call the Rangemaster90 (when I say came free I mean didn't have to pay extra on top of the extortionist price we had to pay for the house).
Anyway, I was very impressed by this little fact and that almost sold the house to me then and there, but not quite. If you have to buy them I believe they are in the region of £1,500 but in my opinion well, well worth it if you can afford it.
Anyway, I can tell you, I am the envy of all my friends now whenever they come over as after 2 years they still mention the oven as the first thing they do when they walk in the kitchen.
According to a recent range cooker survey carried about by Which ? magazine, they voted it best buy August 2007 and for the Toledo 110 ...
