Inspiration Having seen this beast of an oven in a local shop I was hooked and had to ahve it for my new kitchen. I was intrigued to find it cheaper than the £1500 for the version I wanted.
Getting the Deal A bit of searching on the net and I managed to get the same oven (black with gold trim), with an extractor and five year warranty on both for less than I could have got just the oven in MF*.
Paid for by C/C the company phoned back to confirm everything was ok and gave us a cust ref number and tel number for the Rangemaster Company who were going to make the oven for me from scratch (which if you didn't know is part of the Aga group - can't get much better!).
A quick and easy call to Rangemaster confirmed a morning time to a specific delivery date.
Delivery The morning arrived!
I was awoken at 7.45am by the sounds of a deisel engine outside.
Quickly whipping on my trousers and shirt (to hide my modesty) I was greated by two immaculaly dressed men in Aga boiler suites, ties and VERY shiny shoes (stelle toecaps?)!!
Two minutes later the very polite gentlemen had placed (please note - never dragged) the oven in our dinning room ready for installation. One of the gentlemen discussed helpdesk numbers with my partner and then smartishly left.
Installation The installation was as easy as easy could be. If you could not follow the instructions then you should not be installing it, get someone who knows what they are doing! (GAS and Electric kills!) All parts were supplied for LPG, all connection hoses where there. All brass handles were covered by clingy (easy to remove) plastic. Everything was perfect. All accessories were there (handy wok thingy and sisler thingy for your fahitas!). Unbelievable amount of packaging of which most of it was recyclable!
Use Easy to use, full of features and nice touch for the auto settings. Tell it what time you want the meal cooked, tell it how long the meal is for, set it up for temperature and IT KNOWS when to switch on. Self Cleaning (to a degree) and splashes wash off easy!
Overall It may be only a 900mm unit but it looks BIG, it feels big and cooks great. Well worth the money, but shop around for the best deal.

This review tells me how excellent the installation is but nothing much about the way it cooks - what for example is the difference between this cooker and a more modern conventional cooker at a third of the cost? Do you get a gas oven or is it oven fan assisted? I.e. electricity? Will this range, like most Agas heat the whole house too?
Some more detail would certainly be interesting to read - particularly from people who arein the market for one. Any reediting or adding detail, leave a note in my GB and ill happily re-rate. Good luck with your new purchase - its certainly a lot of money. Nar
