Match day at Ibrox is a special occasion, there is always the feeling of great anticipation around the stadium no matter who the Rangers are playing. It is like belonging to one big family who are all on a day out with each other. Each season starts with a real belief that "this year" we will do something in Europe. This year so far that has happened, i think it will continue to near Easter as well. This season Rangers man for man have the best squad in at least ten years but they have under achieved big style. Ok injury and suspension has played a part but Rnagers should be able to cope with that. It is frustrating being a Rangers fan, but i would not change them for any other team. With a new manager, Paul Le Guen, coming in next season, i think the club will get back to winning ways before too long. A lot of top clubs around Europe wanted him as their manager including Real Madrid. Rangers almost made the last eight in the Champions League this season 2005--06. Chairman David Murray has again negotiated big financial investment so the new manager should be able to go for more top notch players to strengthen the team. Going to watch Rangers gives me a real buzz, especially being around the City of Glasgow on a matchday morning or evening. Glasgow is a special city with two special teams (Rangers and Rangers Reserves)

A bit more information about Rangers the club would be helpful. Maybe its history, achievements etc. Actually, everything you wrote in this review I would say about my team Juventus... so what makes Rangers unique? Might be worth remembering that some Ciao users might not even know where Rangers are from or where Ibrox is. Hopefully Rangers can turn their domestic season around - it has been a somewhat odd season so far in Scotland. I think they've been dealt a kind draw in Champions League but I don't expect them to get beyond the next tie. Pete
