"Razor Sharp Speed Power Core E90"

The Power Core E90 is a fantastic scooter that was bought for my daughter by her father as a gift. She absolutely loves this scooter and has not stopped using it since. With this scooter, you will get 80 minutes of ride time before it needs charging again so it can go quite a long way. We usually take it to the park and back. The hub motor gives a lot more efficient, low maintenance ride. It also boasts a steel frame which makes it lighter in weight and easier to ride. The maximum rider weight is 54kg with age range starting from 8. It is available in a green or pink colour.

The product weighs 9.9kg, when the product it assembled, it measures, 32.5" L x 16" W x 36" H. It has a 12V sealed lead acid rechargeable battery and the charger is included with the product. It is important to note that there is some assembly required to set the product up.

It goes without saying that your child should not use the scooter on public highways and only private property with the owner's consent. It is also recommended that the product is not used on pavements or roads, but we live on a housing estate where other children use their scooter's all the time so this is debatable. Nobody has ever complained about my daughter using her scooter and she is very careful. It is vital that your child wears the correct protective gear because there is a risk of injury if your child comes off this. Therefore, utmost care must be taken whilst driving the scooter and this might put some parent's off buying this scooter. Also adult's should keep an eye on their children when using this scooter. The product should not be used as a mobility scooter.

The technology for the Razor Power Core E90 is some of the latest technology around. It is far better than the classic E90 because it provides 2x the ride time. Furthermore, there is no maintenance required since there is no alignment, chain or chain tensioner. It is also 50% more torque than the original E90. It will go up to a maximum speed of 10 mph which is fast, especially if your child is not used to using a scooter. Make sure your child is comfortable on it, before they start going to the maximum speed.

To start the Razor Power Core E90 you will need to kick start it. It has a push button acceleration control, hub motor, high torque, hand operated front brake, Urethane front wheel and retractable kick-stand. The front and back wheel is airless and puncture proof. The product also has an anti-slip footplate, 2 wheels, easy to grip handles, it is H83.6, W32.7cm, the maximum user weight is 54kg.

It is very important for your child to wear protective equipment even if they do not want to do so. This would include a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads because if they do fall off they are going to seriously hurt themselves without the right equipment. There is still the chance of injury when wearing protective gear, but it lessons the severity of the injury. You don't want to buy your child a gift that sends them to the hospital, so do provide the correct safety equipment and make sure they wear it.

The scooter is easy to put together, but it would help having someone strong to tighten the bracket holding the handlebars. It charges quickly which is good, but once it is fully charged, it does go at a very fast speed. I was surprised at how fast it went myself. With limited use, the charge lasts around 4 - 5 days. The stand makes it easier to store the scooter.

My daughter loves her scooter and thinks it is very cool. It really is a fantastic scooter and my daughter zooms about everywhere on it. It is quite small compared to some other scooters. It is fantastic quality, but there is no height adjustment on it which would have been good. My daughter was delighted when she opened this gift. It provides a smooth ride, she has to push it to make it go as it does not get going like other scooter's.

Before my daughter first started using this, she had to charge it for 12 hours. To assemble it, you just place the handle bars in the hole and make sure the two screws are tightened. It lasts for about 1 hour 15 minutes before it needs charging again. It is very easy to use, your child will need to push it until it reaches 3mph. Once it has got to 3mph your child just presses a button and they are off. The handle bar of the scooter works nicely. My daughter also likes to do stunts on her scooter.

These would make the ideal Christmas gift for loved ones. My daughter loves using the scooter and takes it in turn with her friends. It is quite difficult when the weather is bad because it is not designed to be used in poor weather conditions. I have not had any faults with this scooter and it charges so quickly. The charger is quite large and looks like a laptop charger with a little green light that turns red once it is fully charged.

The scooter looks great in pink for my daughter. The scooter is very quick, especially when going down a hill. It is easy to get used to with a little practice. The good thing with the kick stand is that they can be balanced upright so they are not dropped on the floor. Due to the on/off switch glowing red to show the power is on, it makes it much easier to know when it is ready to ride. Once it has been charged up, it will go at a very high speed.

It is a solid, well made scooter that has already survived a number of knocks and bangs. It is very robust and well made. My daughter's friend has one and it looks very worn now, but it still works fine, even though it has obviously been in a few scrapes. In my opinion, this scooter is a lot better than other scooter's on the market. There are a few minor complaints, but mostly I have praise for this product.

It is a bit difficult to transport when not in use due to the weight. You will need somewhere to store the scooter like a small shed or storage cupboard. It is definitely worth the money you pay for it. Other kid's will want to have a go on your child's scooter too, my daughter's friend's have all wanted to take it for a ride. I supervised my daughter using this scooter, the first few times she used it and I would highly recommend you doing this.

The scooter operates by pressing the push button. Your child will have to run a bit with the scooter to get it up to speed and then they press the button. There is no control over the acceleration, so it is important to get used to going at a certain speed before pushing the button, if you don't do this, it is going to suddenly go really fast and your child may fall off. I have seen how fast it can go so suddenly and it can be a bit unnerving.

The tyres are a little problematic and they are better on the E100 scooter. The E100 has stronger, softer tyres that provide a better, quieter ride. It is probably better to practice in the garden before taking it out on the street. Also the park is quite a good place to practice because of the large amount of space there. It does not give a lot of noise off, but the E100 was a lot quieter. There are cheaper scooter's on the market, but they don't deliver the same quality or durability. This scooter, in my opinion, is definitely one of the best available and I would highly recommend it.

The design of this scooter looks good, but the plastic does make it look cheaper. It would have been good if it was collapsible so it fit in the car better. If the manufacturers had put a hinge where the handlebar is and a clip on the base, it would have been able to fold it up and down. Without the ability to fold it up and down, it makes it more difficult for train or car journeys.

Amazon currently sell this scooter between: £87.98 - £168.83, Argos sell it for £129.99, ToysRUs £109.98. So as you can see there are quite a number of different prices, it is better to have a good look around before buying it.
