The attitude of the staff

The Razor’s Edge on Oxford Rd in Manchester is one of my local hairdressers, but for almost 2 years of me living in the city I never went. There were a few things that put me off, but the main one was their sign – the font they’ve used is a blurry slurry one and I just...

Satisfactory

None. I don´t recommend this salon.

Bad haircuts, unprofessional stylists, expensive

I lived in Manchester last summer and was fairly pleased with the 3 haircuts I got at their Oxford street location. I have to admit my hair was always cut much shorter than I asked. However, as my hair grew back I noticed how well it had been cut. This summer, back in Manchester, I decided to...

Not for me

published 27/03/2008

I went to the Razor's Edge to have a haircut not something special or extraordinary and i would say that the woman did really a bad job. I felt that i did not have a real haircut since my hair were not cut as much as i wanted. All and all i paid 26 quids for nothing and i won't never again visit them, i prefer to pay more and have a descent haircut. Demi, Manchester

Satisfactory

I went there today to have my hair layered. The woman did a really crap job AND she was a senior. My hair doesn't even look "properly" layered - it just looks like it has been cut "normally". I was very bitter with the end result and am not going there ever again. She did a crap job and I WOULDN'T recommend others to go there either.

Super

I've been going to Razor's Edge since 2001 and have always found it a very positive experience. The staff are knowledgeable about what is achievable given your hair type (in my case fine flyway hair) and provide a cut that is manageable at home. There are products available to buy and staff are happy to advise but there is no pressure to buy. I would recommend this salon without hesitation.
