Does the job Advantages: Shave quality and lack of 'nicks' Disadvantages: cost of blades for replacement I've used the the wilkinson sword Diamond protector for some time. And i felt like a change as the 4 blade titanium was on offer with 2 blades for £3. It does take some getting used to as it is heavier than my 2 blade Wilkinsons Sword protector. So felt a bit funny in the hand when i was shaving, as my old razor by wilkinson was made of plastic, whereas this is made of metal and has a solid feel to it. A Good Shave With Time Saved! Advantages: Easy to use, Quick, Relatively Close Shave! Disadvantages: Soap runs down quickly, Hair sticks to soap and in blades, Price I am a member of a site called bzzagent and had been given this product to trial which is how I came to try the item and thus have this opinion of the product to share with you all. I bought a house with my fiancé 2 and half years ago, and had come from living in a flat that had a bath, but no shower which I was dying to have. The house we bought only has a wet room (so just a shower, no bath) as the previous owner had an elderly husband that couldn't ... ...had the bath removed and the wet room put in. This is fine usually, even though I do miss my baths and being able to use Lush bath bombs etc, but I do find I have a problem when shaving my legs as I only have a limited amount of space, and have to do a balancing act on one leg whilst shaving the other, and twisting and turning trying to get around the backs of the legs. wilkinson sword quattro, a nice smooth shave Advantages: a very close smooth shave Disadvantages: new razors are expensive i bought this shaver last christmas so about 6 months ago, it's my second shaver and although my first shaver was quite old and i dont even no the name of, there is a big difference the quattro shaves very well at the end of a shave your face feels very smooth. The first thing you notice is the handle is a bit heavier than what you'd expect but then again a lot of Wilkinson's razors have been like that. With my first shaver even though it had 3 blades ... ...or 3 times therefore adding to the time it would take to shave, this is almost erradicated with the Quattro. The Quattro's head bends back quite far giving you a good range of movement for those awkward areas on your neck when stubble grows in all directions, and also come with 2 Aloe strips before and after the blade which actually seem to work. Wilkinson Sword protector 3D diamond Advantages: safe, cheap Disadvantages: not the closest shave ever Overall a very good smooth shave and while not the closest certainly the safest razor on the market asthe guard on the blades make it virtually impossible to have an accident (which is useful first thing in the morning!) This was my first ever real razor (not an orange BIC), and is a good way to learn the technique of shaving without having to break out the first aid kit. Wilkinson Sword DE: old school and good for you! Advantages: Very comfortable shave, quality shave and is very cheap Disadvantages: Have to unscrew the top to change Blades ...I had been using the Wilkinson Quattro for around 2 years. Now, don't get me wrong, The quattro is a fantastic razor and is very comfortable to use! The razor blades also last a long time, but i was fed up with 2 things: 1. Hairs get stuck in the blades, so needs to be cleared out before another razor stroke, therefore for a good shave you have to constantly wash the razor in a mug of water 2. The costs of the quattro cartrige blades are quite ... ...razors, I immediately saw the Wilkinson Sword Classic Double Edge razor package with 5 blades!! I immediately looked around the package (like a newbie) for some "marketting on the package" and there was none! They packaging was plain, no non-sense! No special fancy lubricating strip to make shave more comfortable, no pulsating technology to cut hairs more closely!
