Advantages Wide selection and unlike many suppliers RDO held stock
Disadvantages None obvious to me on my one experience
I was recently looking for a cooker hood. The particular item I was looking for was offered by many suppliers on their web sites at varying prices. When looking to buy only RDO held stock, where all other suppliers offered a 10 day to 3 week delivery option. On the phone the RDO sales agent I spoke to was helpful and knowlegable being able to answer directly or find the answer to my questions. After I had placed my order and agreed to go to their depot to collect the agent even called me back to check if I needed charcole filter which I had forgotten to order. On its own a good buying experience, compared to other companies I tried - excellent.
