The website gives a history of shaving from caveman right through to modern times.
There is a section with 10 steps on when, how , do's and dont's under shaving tips.

Shaving Gel :-
The gel comes in a 150ml bottle and it recommends you use a penny sized amount of gel. That's about 3ml so you get 50 shaves out of one bottle not bad for £3.99.
The gel is clear and very thick like glue, if you rub it on your hands then pull them apart slowly it will stretch as you move your hands apart very gooey.
The smell is very fresh but not over powering and when you rub into your hands it will make them feel soft and their is no stickiness.

Preparation :-
The Real Shaving Company has some of the best products i have ever used for shaving, but if you do not put in some preparation before shaving you will not get the best out of the products.
Always wash in warm to hot water and exfoliate with a daily face scrub before shaving. This removes dead skin and softens the bristles. If you have a blunt razor blade replace it as this will drag across the face causing redness and making the shaved area sore.

Gel :-
You put the gel on a dry face not wet this seems to help it soften the hairs more as it is not watered down, if you put it on a wet face it will disappear immediately wasting the product.
Massage the gel into the face to be shaved this softens the stubble.
Wet your razor and shave as usually, because the gel is clear you can see exactly where you have shaved.
The razor glides over the skin and rinsing the razor as i go along is easy as the hairs do not seem to get stuck in the blades as with some gels i have used.
After drying my face the results are good my face is nic free and no soreness. The skin feels soft to the touch with no dryness.

Conclusion :-
Another top quality product from the Real Shaving Company. The gel is a good price is not messy with little or no wastage. Acts like a moisturiser as your face feels soft but you still need to moisturise and gives you a clean shave with no cuts or soreness as long as you do the preparation.
Would recommend this product to anyone who shaves even the ladies.
