Why after all this time they have started charging for the Porridge Topping.

Pret a Manger

Porridge seems to me like a loss leader for Pret, but we buy coffee as well, then come back for lunch. £8 a day..
No one sells something this good for under £2, but adding a free topping was marketing genius.
Now its the opposite of genius to start charging after all this time for the topping. I was happy with Pret beyond logic before and loyal. Now I am far more angry than I should be over 26p. Prets are losing more than £2. I am going!
