I recently apllied for contents insurance, policy starting on12th august 2011. Will i be covered for items such as my washing machine, tv etc which are around 3 years old??? most items are no newer than a year old. And sentimental jewellery that i dont have reciepts for? The amount in my flat is around £8,000 but i am going to insure it for £10,000. In this case does that mean i can buy new items and be covered for them??? Many Thanks

Any negative or positive experience with HSBC NZ anyone? I have yet to decide; its attraction include International Banking ability. Down side is low saving/Term Depo interest rates. I've been reading reviews (especially negative). I feel more comfortable going with my local banks.
