Advantages: It's cheap, it'll make you laugh, you feel like part of the Kerrang! family, lots of different ban
Disadvantages: None, although most would say they sometimes kiss up to certain bands, I disagree personally.

Advantages: Covers any soap(s), even ones not made in the UK, 98 pages full of soap gossip...
Disadvantages: £1.50 every week, gives away major soap plot lines which some may not want to know!
