Review of The Ridge, Shimla by koshkha

Advantages: There's nowhere else in India quite like the Ridge
Disadvantages: It's a 15-20 minute attraction - don't plan half a day.

The Centre of the City Shimla is a funny sort of place and it's rather hard to put your finger on what you could really call the 'centre' of the city. Because the city clings precariously to the mountainside, it's not as if there's really a mid-point ... Read review

Wonderful Wat
Review of Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun), Bangkok by dkm1981

Advantages: Great views, cheap to enter

Wat Arun is one of the most familiar sights in Bangkok and it is the one that tends to dominate postcards and other souvenirs from the city. It is very well preserved and well worth a visit if you are in the area, even if temples are not really your thing ... Read review

Review of Cafe Crafters, Kochi by koshkha

Advantages: Lovely setting with super views and a great old building
Disadvantages: Small portions and quite expensive by local standards

Chiang Mai is the capital of the north and the culture and way of life can be quite different from the south a lot of the time. The people are friendlier and the pace is less hectic. We have to go back to Chiang Mai in the future. Nice but brief report. by bwanamdevu
Loved Thailand although we went very south to the Malay border (before the troubles there) - lovely country and people :o) Perhaps some information on how long its worth hanging around Chiang Mai might be helpful. by cr01

Glad to see you've added a little more in. This is a good start, but there should be more of your opinion than there are bald facts. by Soho_Black
There's no personal opinion here at all - it's all just bald facts. How did you feel when you last saw this monument? What's the best angle to view it from? When is the best time of day / year to see it? You need to personalise your reviews so they are your unique insight / opinion. by Bollinger28
