Review of Doctor Who: The Magician's Oath - Scott Handcock by SpiderJamb

Advantages: Easy to follow audio adventure, Good variation of voices from the two leads

Advantages: Adds an extra dimension to the fun stories, Miranda Richardson brings Horrid Henry to life
Disadvantages: Might have to listen to the same stories over and over again!

Advantages: Fry is a master storyteller!
Disadvantages: The CD format is dying out, where is the MP3 version?

I'm in the middle of re-reading this book. Has to be my favourite Harry Potter book. I was always interested to hear the audio books although as much as I like Stephen Fry, there are times I would like to hear Alan Rickman's voice in my head. Or Benedict Cumberbatch...they're both very similar ;-) by Renza
This is probably my favourite of the book, and I enjoyed the film... but don't think I could cope with listening to it on CD, unless I was doing a long and boring commute every day. by Kukana

Gaiman Reads His "The Graveyard Book" For You
Review of The Graveyard Book - Neil Gaiman by Caroline_Beal

Advantages: excellent story, Gaiman reads it himself
Disadvantages: it's hard to focus on the book in the traffic

Gaiman's on my list of favourite authors too... to hear him reading one of his own books must be interesting - imagine bringing your own creation to life like that! On the down-side, abridged books by their nature have to leave bits out - I'd find it painful to read one of my own books and to have to decide which bits merited reading and which bits didn't... by pgn0

Review of The Archers: Ambridge Affairs - BBC Audiobooks by SpiderJamb

Advantages: Great source of background information for recent Archers fans
Disadvantages: Both stories could have benefited from some more time spent on them
