My son got me involved in PBM football management, where we set our teams, set formation, bought and sold players and shares then sent off our 'turns' to be processed; we received the match report and who we would play the next week; financial statements, could set training schedules and arrange friendlies with other players' teams in the league ~ although this was all computer-generated 'at a distance' it was the most like managing a real team I ever have played; I think I used to watch my sons play Championship Manager as well ~ but I think the more recent versions do not offer as much as the originals . . . ♥ jes ♥ by jesi
