We're all doomed - especially Woking.
Review of The War of the Worlds - H.G. Wells by misspurple7

Advantages: Readable, unique and chillingly believable. A classic and rightly so.
Disadvantages: A little gruesome in places and perhaps not the most twisting of plotlines

In the season of Christmas cheer, goodwill to all men and all that malarky, we decided our festive treat would be to witness the theatrical end of the world. Cheery. Jeff Wayne's musical telling of War of the Worlds was on at the O2 and never has the dest ... Read review

Interesting. I've had quite a bit more respect for him lately, going up from next to nil previously but after the QT performance less sure what his motivations are e.g. if he's trying to undermine people who do question (and making Farage look better than he is to many) or 'having a go' at people above him within limitation. by ladyofflame
