…and what makes you think and duck & foie gras is that far removed from heart-attach in a bun? But no, I do take your point. Living museums should be able to use on-site produced food to greater effect, not just in the UK (Holland’s national outdoor museum fares not much better than ours). Back to your subject though…I’m glad your kids liked the haphazardness of it. Museums of this kind ‘work’ better if they’re not over-regimented…to much timetabling and they become theme parks.
