Review of Tesco Everyday Value Crunchy Peanut Butter by pinky50

Advantages: Nutty taste, easy to scoop from jar, spreadable. Pleasant smell.
Disadvantages: None for me.

I Like to buy shops own brands of products I haven’t bought before and often like to drop a brand from my usual ones. It does save me a lot of money trying different items. I always think a shops own brand is well worth a try because most of them I have f ... Read review

Review of Tesco Value Chicken Curry by lynnmc1

Advantages: Does not contain nuts.....nor does a banana, which I would have enjoyed more

Sainsburys Basic Red Kidney Beans
Review of Sainsburys Basics Red Kidney Beans in Water by MrsW2011

Advantages: Taste great, good value for money.
Disadvantages: The smell is a bit off-putting.

Sounds worth a try - I gave up on some of the cheaper varieties or brands of peanut butter when I discovered they were adding substantial quantities of palm oil as an ingredient, watching out for my favourite brand (without palm oil!) when it's on offer at a discounted rate or as part of a multi-buy offer. by pgn0

Must confess I find the Pakistani Basmati I get from our corner shop by the sackful to be as good as anything, and it's always easy to add taste to rice. Solid write up :o) by cr01
it's not bad but it's starting to cast a small fortune in the shops. It's a lot cheaper to buy 'normal' rice and add all the bits afterwards, although it does take a lot longer than two minutes to cook. by blissman70
