*Review originally posted on Dooyoo earlier this year* I'm not someone who has a massive sweet tooth and I'm certainly not someone who feels the need to eat some form of chocolate every day. But there are some chocolate forms that I do enjoy and when Mr ... Read review

Review of McCoys Flame Grilled Steak Flavour Crisps by ms19

Advantages: taste lovely, crunchy

Review of Walkers Baked Crisps by euphie

Advantages: Nice taste, lower fat than most crisps, not expensive
Disadvantages: None for me, but won't appeal to everyone

I recently did a survey online which seemed to be asking questions at Walker's Baked crisps. At the end of the survey, I was advised that I would be sent some packets in the post to try. I hadn't really expected them to arrive, but a few days ago, a lar ... Read review

6 packets - awesome sample! Though crisp packets are so small nowadays they can be eaten en masse lol, I remember when they used to be 40-45g. I wonder why they use potato flakes, they'd taste different baked to fried anyway though perhaps not as different so this way makes them lighter and texturally even more different. A finely cut peel for my finest home-made hot cross buns
Review of Buchanans Cut Mixed Peel by KateHurst

Advantages: reasonable shelf life, finely cut texture is more practical in recipes than other brands
Disadvantages: other than size, not really that different to other brands

I’d never tried Buchanan’s Cut Mixed Peel until I was shopping in my local Booths the other day; at 89p for a 100g tub it seemed reasonably priced (Booths tends to be on the pricier side), plus it was the only brand on sale. All I knew was, it was approac ... Read review
