Great Camera for a great price! Especially for video.
Review of Canon EOS 60D by itryproducts

Advantages: Swivel screen. 24p 1920x1080, doesn't chew up media. Strong body.
Disadvantages: Onboard sound is ok. Can only record 12 minutes at a time.

I recently used this camera to shoot a feature film and I have to say I was impressed. It has very similar components to the infamous 7D with the exception and advantage of a swivel screen (which the 7D doesn't have) but its significantly cheaper. This c ... Read review

Nikon D3300, Best Camera I've Owned.
Review of Nikon D3300 by BradJosh

Advantages: 24 Megapixel Camera, 1080p video recording capability.
Disadvantages: Quite Heavy and bulky. No Wi-fi or GPS

So, the D3300 from Nikon was released about 9 months ago, I bought it about 7 months ago for £400 because I needed a better camera for my online projects. It's price is really good as compared to some of other cameras around. This camera has its advantage ... Read review

Handy info though it is substantially lighter than the D3200 and D5300 models. A lot more info could be added here for day to day usage though rather than heavy spec reliance. How quick is it to react when switching it on? What accessories does it come with as standard? Can tint lenses be added onto this camera or additional professional zoom lenses? Lastly I believe it can be linked to Wifi but only through the usage of a WU-1a adapter for a Wi-Fi connection by Nar2

I have to agree with RICHADA below :-( by Scotlass712
Hello and welcome to Ciao. As a keen D-SLR (and Nikon) enthusiast, I disagree with you entirely about this being an "inexpensive" camera for starters - unless bought cheaply second hand. You give us no indication of the price that you paid for yours, nor where you got it from either. R. by RICHADA

Review of Nikon D5300 by kilsoj

Advantages: Brilliant in nearly every way
Disadvantages: Only one, and that is screen is not a touch screen

Advantages: Price, Pop-Out Rotatable Touch-Screen, Grip, HD Video, Battery, Settings, Durability, High ISO
