The call to prayer....
Review of Daily Mail by thedevilinme

Advantages: Bit right wing
Disadvantages: Bit right wing

The Mail is a contradiction in terms. It’s the countries most hated paper but also the most popular, perhaps one or two of those who slag it off secret readers. It’s one of very few newsprints that make a profit and has the world’s most popular online con ... Read review

It's NOT Radio Poo!!
Review of BBC Radio 2 by Kantankrus

Advantages: Vast array of listening choice.
Disadvantages: Not for teens or anyone under the age of 35

Why the title? ...........Well it's what my eighteen year old daughter calls my favourite radio station. How very dare she!!!! Well...ok I suppose at her age I would have probably agreed but I am also pretty sure that when I was her age, Radio 1 (which ... Read review

BAD...BAD...BAD...
Review of Roko UK Health & Fitness Club by CATALINVIORELPIRVU

Advantages: opportunity to swim among people who never take a shower.
Disadvantages: expensive, dirty, lack of communication, dirty again

I become member of Roko in Portsmouth in 2011. I choose them because of apparently clean site and also because I thought that a high price will sort customers and staff also.At the presentation of site I ask details about the swimming pool ( was my point ... Read review

Maybe I'm odd, but I don't shower before I go into the pool, only after? by euphie
Hmm interesting, as for naming staff, generally no you shouldn't do it but if a person has been very bad at their job then it should be spelled out. by newprideexperiadj2

The narrator has begun to grate on me...a lot! This hasn't stopped me wasting countless days off watching back to back episodes though.. by SweetTooth93
The narrator is brilliant and makes the show hilarious for me. It wouldn't be the same without his comments by moistbabe

Some good programmes, though mostly full of repeats!
Review of Sky + (Plus) by xxkitcatsxx

Advantages: Recording, rewinding, fast forwarding, pause
Disadvantages: Expensive, lots of repeats, connection issues, box freezes

Though sky can have some good programming, it is outweighed by the amount of repeated programmings over and over again. The only good point with this box is the ability to pause, record, rewind and fast forward. Though, to be honest, if you miss something ... Read review

Review of Something Special (BBC1) by sandemp

Advantages: Educational, fun, inclusive, interactive, on freeview
Disadvantages: None other than it has to finish

My niece, who is not learning disabled, was taught a few Makaton signs before the age of 1, which allowed her at around 10 months to sign that she was hungry or thirsty or wanted 'more' of something. If I had a small child now I'd be inclined to try it even with a learning typical child. by mattygroves
