The wellspring of death
Review of Agatha Raisin and the Wellspring of Death - M.C. Beaton by euphie

Advantages: Okay read
Disadvantages: Annoying characters, quite short, not much detail and easy to guess the murderer

I had read another Agatha Raisin book a while back and wasn't overly impressed but when my friend lent me this one, I thought I would give the series another chance. Plus, at only 265 pages, it wouldn't take up too much of my time if it was a rubbish rea ... Read review

Review of Brent Weeks' Black Prism
Review of Black Prism - Brent Weeks by LauraJN

Advantages: imaginative, creative, interesting, unique
Disadvantages: it's an epic fantasy which means it's extra long. This might be a disadvantage for some people

The magic Weeks created specifically for this world is intriguing and creative. Magic comes from light so unless you can see certain colors of light and see it well, you can't use that magic. Each color has its own unique ability and texture and only one ... Read review

Rudeness Does Not Equal Humour
Review of Robots Feel Nothing When They Hold Hands - Alec Sulkin by 87degrees

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Rude, disgusting, sexist, homophobic, rarely funny

Advantages: Introduces some important characters and plot ideas
Disadvantages: just felt a bit slow moving and repetitive, didn't really engage me as much as book 1
