I'm not entirely clear on what it is you've invested in by using them. Also, perhaps you could explain more about the types of investments you mentioned - is it property-related, stocks and shares etc? Can you give examples of their typical charges i.e. how much would they charge if you invested £10,000 and how do they justify that cost? by KateHurst

Horrendously expensive for tracker fund

Withdrawing money was a farce

Advantages: Initial fees to buy mutual funds are decent, often zero to 0.5%.
Disadvantages: Withdrawal took months!

I could put money into my Fidelity account easily and online using my debit card, although they often take 2 days to purchase an investment. Withdrawing, on the other hand, was a nightmare involving writing numerous letters and waiting 2 months in total, ... Read review

I'm not sure this is the specific fault of this fund - they all have the standard warning that values can go down as well as up. Unfortuantely you invested when the market was at its peak, and although the past 12 months have seen a remarkable rally, we are nowhere close to those highs now. by Collingwood21
