I found the posting to be only an opinion not factual at all. When last were you in SA? As a South African lady in the UK for my gap year I have been a victim of 2 crimes in 7 months in the UK!! In 21 years in SA (3 of them living on my own) I have never had to "survive" nor do I know any of my friends from abroad that have been in SA to have trouble getting work or being mugged, hijacked ect. Im not denying there is crime but too many people over publitise it like this. Its basic dont walk around with wads of cash and walk around late at night on your own ect....thats how I got mugged in the UK. Universal problem unfortunetly. by janetta1
