Advantages: Lots of holiday, Travel, sport, qualifications, mates

I think there is so much more you could have said about the army. My hubby has just passed his 11 year point and he is aiming for his 22 years full service. With the job situation in this country i think it is one of the only secure jobs at the moment, although it is a dangerous one. I totally agree on the pay, they are well underpaid for the job that they do. by sewbizzie

Advantages: The organization got me here, although I was switched to another family after arriving
Disadvantages: Do not seem to care about the students. Do not perform the job correctly.

AISE is understaffed, unhelpful and extremely expensive. There were several students in my area that were switched around like I was. I am not sure what the company did with my $10,000+ USD but it was not worth it! This company does not check all of it ... Read review

I did 22 years in the Army and was married for 16 of those years. Luckely i only did 2 tours in that time so it wasn't too hard on my wife. That said with young children it is hard and if you are in married quarters in the middle of nowhere without a car it can be unbearable and because of this a lot of forces marriages don't last. If i can give you some advice; try and get a good circle of friends, intigrate in to the civilian life around you such as the NCT, tots or other groups when you have your baby, and before. Keep yourself busy and i hope your husband has a safe tour of Afganistan and comes home soon. by markyeadon
