Advantages: Gorgeous Scenery, not overrun by tourists, very cheap
Disadvantages: not much english spoken
Hungary is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever been to. It's all the more wonderful because people are only just discovering it, so it hasn't been overrun by tourists (yet).
