T'aint a very good kettle
Review of Russell Hobbs 14943 by splishsplash

Advantages: Pleasing shape, and nice and quiet. easy to pour.
Disadvantages: Definite taste to the water after it has boiled.

I bought this kettle for Mum and Dad a few weeks ago. We all liked the dome shape and the handle which reminded us of old kettles but with a modern twist. We bought it from Wilkiinsons and went home anxious to try it. This is where the problem began. ... Read review

Good, solid product that is stylish, fast and efficient.
Review of Breville Illuminated Brita Jug Kettle by oldturnip

Advantages: Nice design, fast to boil
Disadvantages: Fairly small capacity

I bought this kettle after moving to a hard water area. The Brita filter does an excellent job and doesn't take long to filter at all - you can start boiling the kettle as soon as the top chamber has been filled. The water boils quickly and the illuminat ... Read review

A Safe To Boil Tefal That's A Touch Too Clever?
Review of Tefal KO370840 by Nar2

Advantages: Great accessibility, quick to use, easy to clean out, concealed element, smart, keep warm feature.
Disadvantages: Could do with more powerful element to cope with full tank capacity, lousy water filter & manual.

My venerable Bosch “Private Collection” kettle is just about on its last legs. Even with its minimum capacity being filled to just 0.3ml below its 0.5ml “minimum,” it is beginning to slow down much more than it should. However it is very nearly nine years ... Read review

Good review. Check the inside of the kettle. There's a three step plastic guider on a spine that shows how much capacity you can fill to (3 amounts). Evidently RH thought about a water gauge but wanted a seamless design. I like the design here. by Nar2

Advantages: looks good, boils well, easy to uses
Disadvantages: high min fill level, a little noisy

I can see an improvement in this review from the ones you started off with. It just needs a little more to it to obtain a helpful rating (and for you to start getting paid). You do pack a fair bit of information into a small review - my recommendation would be to try adding a little more of yourself into each review - what let you to purchase this kettle over any other, how does the volume work for your needs etc by Thehonesttruth
