Red Hot World Buffet, Manchester - not a child friendly restaurant.
Review of Red Hot World Buffet, Manchester by Beckles1979

Advantages: None - I was not allowed entry to the restaurant as I had a baby with me.
Disadvantages: Not child friendly. You are only allowed to use the lift if you're disabled and not for a pram.

I cannot understand why children under 10 can dine for half price as stated by the previous reviewer, when this is not a child friendly restaurant. I went to meet my husband for lunch mid-week with my 7 month old baby. When my husband asked the member ... Read review

Manchester's Stunning Taj Mahal
Review of The John Rylands Library, Manchester by fizzytom

Advantages: Architecturally important and stunning; free; truly memorable

Nice building, shame about the bar staff
Review of Lloyds No. 1, Printworks, Manchester by Russells_Teapot

Advantages: Good location
Disadvantages: Difficult to actually spend your money there unless you stand in the right place

The building itself is very nice, spacious and well laid-out. Unfortunately I can't comment on the quality of the drinks/food because it wasn't actually possible to order anything. The pub wasn't particularly busy when I went in, indeed me and three frie ... Read review

Magnificent Mixology in Manchester
Review of Socio Rehab, Manchester by DonPaolo

Advantages: Atmosphere, service, variety of drinks, Mixology classes are great fun
Disadvantages: Very few disadvantages, some drinks a tad pricey, but that's nit-picking

“Preparation…” (An introduction) Socio Rehab is a cocktail bar in Manchester’s popular Northern Quarter. It’s situated on Edge Street, but there’s no name over the door, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled if you’re visiting for the first time. ... Read review

Gives Manchester night life a bad image
Review of The Printworks, Manchester by RufusUK

Advantages: Decent door staff, under one roof so no getting wet, taxis available
Disadvantages: Bad crowd of regulars, trouble is very common, too many drunks

The problem isn't so much the place, it's the type of people that it tends to attract. When you have cheap drinks and cheap venues it attracts it often attracts people who drink to excess and trouble often follows that. If you put smart bars in there, charged slightly higher prices and stopped the Firetrap and Blue WKD crowd from going in you'd have a decent indoors night out area. by RufusUK
