The middleweight to beat them all
Review of Yamaha XJ6 Diversion by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Beautifully made, extremely smooth, usefully flexible, well equipped for type
Disadvantages: Expensive compared to twin cylinder competition, poor seat, a bit tame

Yamaha XJ6 Diversion ABS 09 onwards Context I review this bike as a shared owner with family members. I myself bought the predecessor to the XJ6 Diversion, the FZ6 Fazer S2 and have ridden this bike for over a year. I now have close to 4 ... Read review

I've rated E even though for some reason rating out of tenon a site where the top score is five really niggles me! However, this is an exceptional motorcycle review and I have never seen a Yamaha bike compared to a Ford Focus before. That line alone almost deserves an E for the exercise I got rolling around on the floor! Interesting observations about the higher speed vs town riding on the old bike. That's precisely why I sold my last bike the GSX 1000 in my memeber photo and I thought it was just being female and getting older that I was not enjoying riding it around towns and so on! Enjoy the biking, I miss it like mad! :) by LiveMusicLoverLyn

Lexmoto XTRS 125-24
Review of Lexmoto XTR S 125 by jamidibo

Advantages: 100MPG, easy to ride, excellent parts back up, 1 year warranty
Disadvantages: No gadgets, annoying to get into neutral, a little tacky

The Lexmoto XTRS 125 is a learner based sports motorcycle that you can buy in the UK. The XTRS 125 costs around £1200 depending where you go and comes with a years warranty and a very good parts back up if you break anything. The XTRS has what I believ ... Read review

Vespa PX 125 T5
Review of Vespa PX 125 by jamidibo

Advantages: good looking, good engine, lots of power, comfortable
Disadvantages: thirsty, break down a lot, labour of love, rubbish brakes

The Piaggio Vespa PX 125 T5 was a variant of the PX 125 which had 5 transfer ports, thats why its called the T5. This gave it a little bit more power and would be able to pretty much match the PX200. The performance is quite good considering i was on a 1 ... Read review

Part time owners review
Review of Honda Deauville NT650V by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Willing motor, excellent build quality, well equipped, cheap to buy and run
Disadvantages: Obstinate in corners, Dreary image

CONTEXT: The Honda Deauville is our family's "spare" motorcycle (after the Yamaha FZ6S2). It's the bike that's abused and beaten, not really an awful lot looked after, ridden to work in the horrible weather conditions etc etc. I'm nigh on 20; been riding ... Read review

Near as perfect
Review of Yamaha FZ6 Fazer by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Powerful, Fun, frugal, excellent position, flawlessly built, stylish
Disadvantages: Poor storage space, some are beginning to age a little

Yamaha’s FZ6 is a bike that has an incredibly big heritage to live up to. Its predecessor, the carburettor driven Fazer600, was one of the all-time greats of the middle weight sports tourer class. It had all the reliability of the Honda Hornet, all the de ... Read review

Excellent GPZ 305 with great handling and belt drive.
Review of Kawasaki GPZ305 by watsonkenw

Advantages: Precise steering and great handling. Good brakes. Very lively and economical. Belt drive.
Disadvantages: Went out of production too soon.

It's a while since I owned one of these but of all my 250 - 650 cc bikes over the years it stands out as the best scoring bike overall and by quite a bit. I still remember my first ride after collecting the bike and how impressed I was with the precise st ... Read review

Underrated little town bike
Review of Cagiva River 600 by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Ludicrously cheap, fun to ride, energetic motor, decent equipment and features
Disadvantages: Mechanically outdated, parts take forever to deliver, very uncommon.

The Cagiva River is something of an oddball. It's a machine that has the simplistic naked lines of a Suzuki GS500; yet it's equipped as standard with fairly decent sized panniers. It's one of the largest single cylinder bikes you're likely to find on the ... Read review

If I could venture a suggestion - you will gain far more rewards for your efforts if you slow down. A less hurried looking review will gain more rates, as will one review posted at intervals. Hope this little tip helps you. by cr01

I bought my 2008 model as a replacement for a Vespa cosa that i was using to commute to work in all weather, all year round. So this is my second winter and so far the bike has never let me down. It is no speed machine however i have wound her up to 80MPH ... Read review

A fantastic modern scooter
Review of Vespa Granturismo 200 by scooterkrazy

Advantages: Sturdy, stable and reliable.
Disadvantages: Expensive to service by dealer also pricy to buy compared to other scooters.

I bought my GT200 for long distance touring as i had heard that they offered more comfort and security than my PX200 along with stability due to the heavier body. The scooter cruises at approximately 65mph and is very responsive when riding through towns. ... Read review

Review of Honda CG-125 by Hondaponder

Advantages: Light, easy to ride, Handles well, good fun on A and B roads, Easy Maintenance.
Disadvantages: Slightly underpowered (but that is where the pleasure and reward comes form)

I have owned quite a few bikes from 50cc to 1000cc. When you start riding bikes, all there is in the back of your mind is "I can't wait to get a bigger bike". Well eventually you realise that you can go too big, Buckets of power is overrated, Sports bi ... Read review
