Fat wobbler
Review of Honda CBR1100XX by Hobgoblin222

Advantages: Well made roomy big bike with reasonable handling.Very smooth and fast
Disadvantages: Some bikes wobble at 40mph, check with a ride.

A very well made bike, easy to ride and fairly economical, good finish apart from furry fork sliders, easily scotchbrited.....1998 carb model. However, it wobbled at 40mph,worse with a top box, (empty) even a rack affected it...and wore the front tyre st ... Read review

Diamond review   Teaching Hollie to be a little Hell's Angel!
Review of Aeon Mini ATV 50cc Quad Bike by chrisandmark_is_here

Advantages: Good handling, easy maintenance, stable, low running costs, lots and lots of fun!
Disadvantages: Relatively low ground clearance, some 'niggles' which are common to this quad

Mark bought this Aeon Mini Colt Mini ATV for five year old Hollie during the summer, she'd complained of being bored but don't think she was expecting to come home from school to find a real quad bike waiting in the garden for her! Luckily, after the shoc ... Read review

My best purchase ever.
Review of Yamaha XJ900S Diversion by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Excellent Build quality, extremely smooth riding, capable performance, supple suspension
Disadvantages: quarter of a ton so quite lardy, not as frugal as I'd like, Paint is a wee bit thin, uncommon

The Yamaha XJ900, in its earliest form, was a hit in the early 80's. It's smooth, no fuss and no nonsense 4 cylinder, 4 stroke engine was a revelation to the era that was obsessed with costly 2 stroke speed. Coupled with a relatively uncommon shaft drive ... Read review

Even restricted, this bike shines
Review of Suzuki Bandit 600S by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Smooth and energetic power delivery, starts even in the worst colds, comfort, neutral handling
Disadvantages: Bit tall for anyone under 5ft 8, rather weighty, age tends to be unkind

The Suzuki Bandit is the bike that started the middle weight revolution in the 90's; Where before, anyone wanting a sensible but fun commuter was stuck with an undesirably boring twin cylinder lump, Suzuki introduced a fun and extremely capable bike with ... Read review

Baby Shadow still has it all
Review of Honda Shadow VT125 by Kpjwateridge

Advantages: Excellent build quality, unequalled reliability, Forgiving handling characteristics, powerful
Disadvantages: Long gearing, lardy steering, ridiculously rev-hungry engine can be unnerving

What is it: The Honda VT125 is one of a collection of low capacity, learner legal cruiser style bikes. For those that yearn for a Harley or some other large cruiser, these are the logical first step to getting them. While some 125cc cruisers are still in ... Read review

Yamaha 535
Review of Yamaha Virago XV535 by Rogerinfrance

Advantages: weight, ground clearance, fuel economy.
Disadvantages: rear suspension, pillion, cornering

I have had my s/h 535 for 3 years now, I am 66 and thought my biking days were over, 1 sit on this and I was hooked, shaft drive so no chain problems, only problem is that the starter clutch started to slip, new springs from Yammy too short, new ones not ... Read review

Kawasaki Ninja 250
Review of Kawasaki Ninja 250R by ktddj

Advantages: The handling is fantastic.
Disadvantages: Not the best build quality.

I have owned this bike since 2010 and I really enjoy riding it. Although it is fairly low powered in comparison to other motorbikes, I find that it still pulls away very quickly and has more than enough power for me.The seat height i ... Read review

Probably Reliable
Review of Suzuki GS125 ES by Bevania

Advantages: Comfortable and fuel efficiant, relaible.
Disadvantages: Not a very fast bike sometimes, but fast enough for a 125

From the purchase price of £450 it is probably obvious that I bought this bike second hand...and in a rather sorry state but that never stopped it from getting me to where I needed to be. Looks The first thing I did on getting this bike home was ... Read review

@DanielClark I am not certain that my speedo was correct to be honest! I was surprised myself when I looked down to see 75. It is always possible that I was not actually going that fast. by Bevania
I am surprised you got 75mph out of this bike, as the top speed is only 65mph. by danielclark691
