I found the level of information suplpied by confused.com to be rather confusing! (and I'm guessing thats not what the name is meant to imply). For two different comparisons, I couldn't actually receive the deal.

I ordered a camping table which was dispatched as promised on 2nd Jan. when the money was taken from my account. All's well so far, but a week later the table still hadn't arrived. When I phoned on the 9th Jan I was told that the carriers - City Link - had failed to find my house, although they had made a delivery there on the 7th. I was then promised delivery on the 10th, a Saturday. So fingers crossed! What would have happened if I hadn't phoned? Would our table be left in a warehouse somewhere? The table was to be a birthday present. It is now a late birthday present thanks to City Link.

Advantages: Quick easy to use
Disadvantages: Not all insurers quote

It's a useful site for price comparison purposes, but having found the top three or four insurers I tend to go directly to their own website for another quote, as most insurers also have specific questions which comparison sites don't always ask. Only then do you really get an accurate quote. by scampi1

i considered buying from dccook, a good website, etc. But after reading around forums i found they used to be partnered with virgincars which on further investigation i found to have lots of bad reviews and eventually forced to close. i even read somewhere that dccook was in receivership. I dont know if this is true and i dont have personal experience with them but the reviews i read was enough to put me off so I placed my order elsewhere.

Review is coming across as Victor Meldrew without the humour i.e. just a rant. As a review about a negative experience there needs to be more information to help the reader make an informed choice. I would also leave out stuff about the Ethnic issue as it makes for an ugly read. Also spelling is quite bad. Moron has one r in it not two as written in the review "MORRON". by petermock
