Life at its rawest. People need food - chickens can be eaten. End of thought process. Never been to Africa although I have seen last minute are offering all sorts of incredible deals. 	Paradise on earth and under the water Review of Tofu & Barra Beaches (Mozambique) by GTGlenn Advantages: Isolated, Very cheap, great weather, beautiful beach, diving/scuba Disadvantages: Difficult to get to, no banks, communication with outside world difficult Getting to Tofu beach in Mozambique is an adventure in itself. Sadly we had a lot of wind - weather, not the food - and only got two dives in in 4 days. It was a long way to go for so little. They also claim to have some great Manta ray sites as well. Your comments on getting money - also v. relevant. People should take cash if they can as credit cards are nearly impossible to use in Barra and Inhambane.
