Living in Mozambique
Review of General: Mozambique by
Expat100
Advantages: Amaizingly beautiful
Disadvantages: Very hot in summer time and the language
We've been living in Mozambique for the last 10 years and I can honestly say that it has been the best years of my life. Being an expat in this country is not always easy since you have to be careful with the police and some of the locals always trying t ...

The low down on Ponta do Oura and Ponta Molangane
Review of General: Mozambique by
Steven_Holroyd
Advantages: Friendly people, great diving and lost of nothing to do!
Disadvantages: Lost of nothing to do if you aren't into diving, vegetating and socializing
As a keen diver we frequent Ponta do Oura and Ponta Molangane in Mozambique on a regular basis. Although there are “better” diving spots in Mozambique, if you’re looking for value for money accommodation, good service and a pleasant diving experience, Pon ...

Paradise on earth and under the water
Review of Tofu & Barra Beaches (Mozambique) by
GTGlenn
Advantages: Isolated, Very cheap, great weather, beautiful beach, diving/scuba
Disadvantages: Difficult to get to, no banks, communication with outside world difficult
Getting to Tofu beach in Mozambique is an adventure in itself. From the capital, Maputo, catch a bus to Inhambane and then take a chappa from there.
There are only two hostels on the beach and by far the best of these is bamboozi's. Right on the beac ...

dinoma
Advantages: Lovely Country and surrounding area
Disadvantages: need to research the trip well
I recently went to Mozambique more by accident than anything else and was amazed by the vibrancy of a country recovering from a civil war. There is a hope and optimism than is contagious. This allied to a lovely natural country make it a fantastic place t ...
