Kaossilator- the mini synth thats REALLY for on The go
Review of Korg Kaossilator Mini Phrase Synthesizer by gratuitousP

Advantages: Portable -X-Y touch interface, Can stack sounds, Make loops, Over 30 different scales
Disadvantages: 100 patches is a bit limiting, No MIDI implementation, comes with no AC Adaptor

The Korg Kaossilator has really proved to be worth the money. Although only containing about 100 different patches, (grouped as 20 Lead, 10 Acoustic, 20 Bass, 10 Chord, 20 SE [Special Effects], 10 Drum, and 10 Pattern), its portability(uses four AA batter ... Read review

True Lawrence, but could you MAKE a beat on your iPod? It's all about unleashing your own creativity for your own personal enjoyment and sharing it with friends, while on an iPod you simply listen to others' works. And thank you for your input. by gratuitousP
I could be on a bus listening to beats on my iPod and not moving any finger! It sounds fun but for £117-£150 it seems expensive for a gimmick that you will soon grow tired of. by LawrenceP

7 String guitars suffer easily from muddy pickups with a low B, I cant think of a single good thing I've heard about a stock pickup from any of the guitar manufacturers when it comes to 7 strings (Ibanez, Schecter ESP etc). It is quite normal for them to be replaced by the user for something better from the pickup manufactures (Dimarzio, Seymour Duncan, EMG etc). I orginally planned to replace them with a D sonic / Air Norton set from Dimarzio but never got round to it. by Requisition
Top of the range but muddy pickups, I can't imagine why you bought it as you must have tried it first. I can understand though if doesn't lose the tuning all the time ( a bugbear of many guitars) and you get decent pickups at a good price, you can't go wrong. by LawrenceP

Epiphone Les Paul Studio, a little too evil?
Review of Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar by seemewheelie

Advantages: Build quality, Bridge pickup, Hardware
