A Strong & Reliable Router to Link Up the Internet With!
Review of TP-LINK TD-W8970 - wireless router - DSL - desktop by Nar2

Advantages: Glossy, modern look, easy to install/set up, well kitted out, clear indication panel, quick.
Disadvantages: Constantly ticks, can be too pricey for version 1, not exactly unique.

There comes a time when something so utterly reliable suddenly starts to slow down and when it is something that a home owner doesn’t often think about – the home internet router. Such was the case when my old BT router started to fail and where it was im ... Read review

Net The Reliable Gear That Extends Wifi Signal At Home!
Review of Netgear WN3000RP by Nar2

Advantages: Easy to use & install, reliable, silent running, easy LED panel, good range, Ethernet option
Disadvantages: Now replaced by more extended range models, design takes up a lot of the mains plug.

In a home built in the 1960s and made up of timber, thick insulated walls and brick, cement and mortar, my late parents never really had an issue with internet signal until my bedroom was moved to the back of the home and where the BT Voyager router we ow ... Read review

Excellent - I have a similar Netgear product (EX2700) which I bought before moving to our present 3-storey house, assuming we'd need it only to find that the top floor has an adequate signal anyway. However, where one of these does come into its own is as a 'bridge' between appliances that only have Ethernet but are nowhere near the router - some TV set-top boxes for example. by BNibbles
