Review of Cabinn Aarhus Hotel, Arhus by
michelley26
Advantages: cheap for Denmark
Disadvantages: none for our needs
We used to live in Aarhus, and on the few visits that we took to Aarhus initially to find an apartment to rent, we stayed at the Cab Inn.

Advantages: Easy to get to from UK, cheaper and less touristic than Copenhagen
Disadvantages: Expensive to use public transport to get to other cities
History:

A Winter Visit To The Copenhagen Zoo
Review of Copenhagen Zoo, Frederiksberg by
lusterlyra
Advantages: Has a Tropical zoo inside, has a few sections in the zoo which is interesting
Disadvantages: a little expensive to go during winter, only bus 6A reaches the direct entrance.
The Copenhagen Zoo seems to receive quite a lot of publicity hence the decision to make a visit when I was in Copenhagen.
How To Get There
Take Bus 12 from a bus stop in the city centre, perhaps the Town Hall Square or the main bus stop outside th ...

Review of Best Western Ritz, Arhus by
JVL
Advantages: Central location, free wireless access, clean and tidy
Disadvantages: Showing its age a bit!
Returning to Aarhus, there was no chance I was ever going to check back into the Hotel Mercur (see my review from April 2008 to read just why you should steer well clear) so I had to get searching for somewhere else. Denmark's second city seems to suffer ...

Our New Favourite Weekend Break
Review of Aarhus (Denmark) by
blmcconn
Advantages: Great range of museums
Disadvantages: beer is more expensive than UK
We went to Aarhus in June to meet some friends and it was great. The city itself has plenty of shops and cafes along with bars and restaurants.
The setup for tourists is much better than any place in England of the same size. There are bikes you can re ...

Advantages: City centre location, great buffet breakfast, peaceful rooms
Disadvantages: No spa on site
We stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights in June and it was great.
Arhus had so much to see and the hotel was perfectly suited to walk to most of the attractions.

3 star hotel in the centre of Esbjerg, Denmark.
Review of Hotel Ansgar, Esbjerg by
jimh1
Advantages: Slap bang in the centre of Esbjerg, not made of Lego or bacon.
Disadvantages: Old and it shows.
If you want a decent place to stay in the centre of town, this is probably going to be the cheapest option. Clean and cosy rooms, friendly staff, breakfast included and within crawling distance of most of the town's watering holes.
Local Info:
If you ...

Budget accommodation in Esbjerg, Denmark.
Review of Esbjerg Hostel, Esbjerg by
jimh1
Advantages: Cheapest in town, clean, nice building.
Disadvantages: Only just in town, bit like going to a boarding school.
If the Encyclopædia Britannica ever decides to create a virtual hostel to communicate exactly what a hostel looks like, they probably ought to model it on this one. It does everything that a hostel should do, and not a single late-night-beer more. As with ...

Advantages: Clear, well maintained roads

Review of Billund Airport, Denmark by

Advantages: You're in Denmark - can't be a greater advantage! It's clean, no queues and very pleasant travelling experience
Disadvantages: Food and Shops are more expensive than the High Street
