Catherine Chanter: Well Well Well....
Review of The Well - Catherine Chanter by cr01

Advantages: Umm, nicely written
Disadvantages: A mish mash of a plot

Catherine Chanter’s The Well is nominally at least, the type of book that I might enjoy. It’s a tale of the near future where it’s a very familiar world, but there’s a twist. In this case, the UK is going through a prolonged and severe drought, and Chante ... Read review

Advantages: Beautifully rendered nightmare scenario

An Annual Affair With The Doctor!
Review of Doctor Who: Official Annual 2016 - Various Authors by Chippytarka

Advantages: Cheap price, great pictures, good easy to understand descriptions of character's and events
Disadvantages: Nothing really connected with the 2015 series

It’s amazing how a grumpy sleep deprived mummy can have something in common with a just as grumpy and moody young son. Despite his now fascination, much to my horror, of Disney comedies such as Jessie, Thundermans and Henry Danger ( what happened to Cbee ... Read review

Mostly Harmless: Another Great Novel from Douglas Adams
Review of Mostly Harmless - Douglas Adams by Elna642

Advantages: Funny, clever, unique, interesting, easy to read
Disadvantages: Not as good as the first book, no Zaphod or Marvin?

Mostly Harmless is the final book in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams. It was originally mean to consist of only three books, but ended up far longer. In typical Hitchhiker fashion, the plot is a bit all over the place. Everyt ... Read review

Clever and strange, but not as good as the first book.
Review of So Long, and thanks for all the Fish - Douglas Adams by Elna642

Advantages: Clever, well-developed characters, funny, strange
Disadvantages: No real plot, very short, not as good as the rest of the series, no Zaphod?

This is the fourth book in Douglas Adam's infamous The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. As is always the case, the first couple of books are definitely the best, but I always have to read the whole series after I start! So in this book, Arthur De ... Read review

Another Clever, Weird Novel From Douglas Adams
Review of Life, the Universe and Everything - Douglas Adams by Elna642

Advantages: Clever, funny, weird and eccentric, unique writing style
Disadvantages: Not as good as the first books, easy to get lost at times

I loved the first two books in the Hitchhiker series, and had heard that the rest aren't quite as good. I'm afraid I have to agree on that with this book, though it isn't a bad book by any means. In this exciting novel from Douglas Adams, we find Arthur ... Read review
