Advantages: Tube station right next to the market, diverse range of clothes/accesories and unusual gadgets, friendly people, addictive place to go.

Disadvantages: The usual disadvantages of London (pickpockets, traffic, crowded, etc.)

I've been to Covent Garden a couple of times, once a few years ago and once a few days ago, and I am still yet to have explored all of it! Not only is there the huge marketplace but it is also surrounded by lots of other shops too. The famous market ... Read review

Really well written, detailed and very informative review there indeed. Great Pictures too............Roy......... by n13roy
I have only been there once and I only thought they had the downstairs food hall, never realised they had loads of other floors. They have great customer service though - I bought something which was out of date, they refunded me immediately and sent me a bottle of champagne by way of an apology. I will be going back next weekend to get some goodies for Christmas. Great review x by Liney_1973

I'm going to London with my friends 2 weeks today and ever since reading your 'London Calling' article at cq.net I decided that we must go to Carnaby Street. I mainly want to go for 'B' and 'David & Goliath', plus I know that movie memorabilia store you just mentioned will totally appeal to one friend in particular. Plus we'll be in Regent Street in Hamleys of course.. we're just a bunch of big kids really. Do you have any idea how we could get to Carnaby Street through the underground? Great op!!
