Hinari SC395SS mid range slow cooker with limited functions
Review of Hinari SC395SS Round SLOW Cooker by afcbtim

Advantages: tender meat, good manual and recipes
Disadvantages: Difficult to clean the shell, variable temperature, a timer would have been better

Background Our working day is usually around 9 hours, and sometimes it is nice to come home to a hot meal with little preparation, hence the purchase of a slow cooker. It was purchased for around £20 2 years ago from Argos. It is currently showing out ... Read review

Most slow cookers don't have a timer on them as they are designed to run for 24 hours to 48 hours. Get yourself to Tesco and buy a magnetic timer. Its what I use for my old Asda value slow cooker. by Nar2

Review of Russell Hobbs 18008 by bettyboo47

Advantages: makes excellent toasties with your own choice of filling

This Russell Hobbs sandwich toaster is exactly what you would expect it to be. I have owned it for around five years, and it is still going strong, although the black cooking surface is somewhat worn away and scratched, but this doesn't affect the sandwic ... Read review

Review of Cookworks XBM1038 by pressgang

Advantages: Low price, easy to use, fairly quiet
Disadvantages: Cord might be a bit short

I bought this as a replacement, partly because of the low price. So far I love it. I've used it on the settings for: bread, pizza dough, jam (well, I made marmalade), and cake. There have been no real disasters so far, in fact I've found the breadmaker t ... Read review

Disadvantages: bit noisy, not he most powerful, small chute to put fruit through

I have wanted a Juicer for some number of months now, and I have pondered to and fro over what make to get. I’d heard a lot about all the big, fancy expensive ones, and simultaneously heard just as positive things over smaller, simple makes. With my new ... Read review

Sounds good but a bit more information would be good here. You say it has ten attachments so perhaps you could explain what they all do? How easy is it to change the attachments? How easy to keep clean? Finally how much does it cost? by Bollinger28

Good review. For buyers though knowing the actual watts of the model and if the beaters are stainless steel would be good to know. So many cheap hand mixers these day suffer from chrome beaters which are not the same and over time start to flake off with use, dangerously into the food prep. by Nar2
