As an aside, try leaving out the milk powder that appears in many of the recipes in the instruction booklet. And if you make a loaf with 1/4 wholemeal flour and 3/4 white flour, perhaps you can slowly work up to a proper brown loaf... nice 2nd review! by pgn0

Good review. The easiest way of cleaning any blender is just to put a drop of washing up liquid and hot water, put it on low setting, pop the lid back on and away it washes itself. Then rinse out with water until all the soapy content is gone and then fill again with just warm water to ensure all the soap has been taken out by whizzing it up again. Then leave in the drainer upside down to dry out. No cuts! Another tip - I always buy from the grocer for fruit as it is a darn site cheaper. Also tinned fruit is good for smoothies. by Nar2

Personally I can't see why anyone would need anything more than this, but the last time I was looking for a new toaster a few months ago I was amazed how much some manufacturers charge. I suppose it's like "designer" kettles - a cheapo model from Asda will boil water just as well as a fancy posh model, so my (perhaps simplistic) mind can't grasp why people would pay all that extra money. by jonathanb
