I fully relate to your comment, "I grew up watching these types of players, whom you could relate to because they were just ordinary men in the street." Many years ago I had a West Ham season ticket, when all players were expected to be home grown in the East End of London (Moore, Hurst, Peters and the great sprinter Rednapp). I could no longer afford a season ticket, but I now don't care about the team that is no longer local. I fear I may have given my great age away with the players I have named! by DavidCoulthard
