Welcome to Ciao. A good start here, As the owner of the "fixed position" Vax Mach Air. I can tell you, there is a central filter that will require washing before long if anything is to go by the people in your home and the dirt! A bit more info would certainly be more informative for buyers such as the actual cost price, the actual weight, if there's a hose, if there's cleaning tools attached, if this model "swivels" around corners or just has the traditional push forward and back approach and lastly maintenance - can the brush roll be easily cleaned off with hairs etc around it? well actually I placed this in my review as some extremely more educated person than myself seemingly suggest I was a dealer, I actually owned an original Air Myself before any of you , but because I also point out little design faults others may not see or notice, or in fact care, except for its ability to clean , VAX seem quite interested, of course I am only saying as I see it , Vax themselves do not make it plain on boxes packaging that these are washable, have you considered suggesting this to them . by desb48

As the owner of the original Vax Mach Air, I doubt that you'll be able to use this properly when it comes to using the hose - I know, I had a look at this new improved model at my local Currys- it still has to be removed from the bottom as well as the tools and the floor head for periodic cleaning. A bit more honest info covering this vacuum cleaner would be handier here - Vax don't offer 6 years as standard on their ENTIRE range - only the multicyclonic models, which are costlier than their cheapest upright at £59-99.The added info about your personal life being a seller or member of leading surveys is of no interest to add to the actual product being advertised here, either - sorry. More importantly added info like noise levels, filtration, quality, whether the filters are washable, general dirt capacity, how many times you feel you have to empty it, cord length and performance on both hard and carpet floors would be bonus additions that buyers would probably feel better in reading.
