I know exactly what you mean! Their recently introduced account inactivity charge was the final straw for me. It is not the brightest charge to introduce when private punters are staying away from the market in droves. I've used Sharenet (also in Manchester) for about a year, and am transfering all TDW to them. Half the price too (£8 a trade for less than £1k)! Good luck. by gray

Advantages: Fast efficent service, very knowledgeable staff, everything done through 1st class postage.
Disadvantages: Sometimes the trade takes about 5 mins to go through.

Advantages: Great service, I was able to easily & quickly sell foreign shares for an agreed rate
