Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
Review of Angels and Demons - Dan Brown by MrBrightside002

Advantages: . A mix of academic detective story, gory thriller, science fiction and religious epiphany.
Disadvantages: None

Angels and Demons, like it’s sequel The Da Vinci Code, would seem to be an unlikely bestseller. A mix of academic detective story, gory thriller, science fiction and religious epiphany would not appear to be the most likely of combinations, but Dan Brown ... Read review

I think there is a tendency here to reserve E's for the longer reviews, but this says absolutely everything I need to know - with no padding or worse - going into too much detail on a book and spoiling anything - so an E from me. by Marge3781

A Shrug and a Yawn
Review of Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand by Review-r89

Advantages: heavy, pretentious,
Disadvantages: boring, long, heavy, difficult read

This book is far too long for it's own good. Regardless of any awards it may have won, it is nothing but an author's attempt to show off and brain wash readers. This work is one of anarchy and speaks clearly against any and all governments, which frankly, ... Read review

Thank you for the feedback! I will certainly take it into consideration, and I'm glad that you saw my fall was in not wanting to give away the plot. Again, thank you! by Review-r89
Ha I like someone with a strong opinion, but I didn't really get a feel for what this book was about. there's a fine line between giving too much plot away and not enough and alas i feel you fall into the latter camp with this. Keep on writing I'm certain you could be a good reviewer here. by cr01

A Schism It Isn't
Review of The Schism - Robert Dickinson by Soho_Black

Advantages: A decent portrayal of mundane, everyday life
Disadvantages: But who wants that in a novel?

My girlfriend looked at the back of Robert Dickinson's "The Schism" and decided that it was just the kind of book I would enjoy. Which was a fair comment, as I'd done the same. A book that promised a man's world "thrown dramatically out of kilter", that ... Read review
