A modern day Rear Window
Review of Trust Your Eyes - Linwood Barclay by carlz2001

Advantages: Plot, characters, flow, thrilling, suspenseful
Disadvantages: Reveals spelt out a little too much, love interest not needed

After taking a few months out from my favourite genre, suspense novels, I decided to sink back into it with the latest release from one of my favourite authors, Linwood Barclay. A fairly new author (and I say that in the loosest possible sense), he has on ... Read review

Review of Trust Your Eyes - Linwood Barclay by brokenangelkisses

Advantages: Well-structured, interesting character and family relationships, gripping story

As Barclay is a well established and successful writer I'm surprised about the early clunkiness, but that aside this sounds really good. I've got another Barclay book somewhere in my ridiculously big "to read" pile so I'll be interested to see if it has the same problem. by jonathanb

A Confusing Tale Of Mistaken Dead Identity

Disadvantages: Confusing at some points

I've got another Reichs book in my ridiculously large "to read" pile and I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it may avoid the confusing elements of this book - I've read a couple of other novels recently where the proliferation of names, often of minor characters, became very distracting because I had to keep looking back through the book to remind me who they were. by jonathanb
I love Bones, and I've got plenty of Kathy Reichs' books on my bookshelves but I've never got round to reading any of them. I like the sound of this one though. by tb240904
