In my view there is not a lot to see for the tourist in this city - my sister lives nearby and my son in Toronto and we struggle to find things to do there. by catsholiday

It's a long time since I've been, but lots of people seem to take to Toronto. It is cold, though! by torr
This is very well personalised, but doesn't really say much about Toronto . . . it would make an amusing "cafe" essay; possibly even exceptional, but it is not really helpful to a prospective visitor, apart from reminding him/her that North America is quite cold in winter. You need a lot more information about the place to inform of what is available to visit. l do understand that your own visit was slightly marred by your trials; however, your experience was (hopefully) no more the norm than my needing an ankle X-ray in Paris because of a young lad crashing into me on a skateboard! lf my "travel review" of Paris only mentioned my unfortunate experience(s), and failed to mention the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, boat trip, mini zoo, Louvre (we only went through on the underground, actually) and other points of interest, it would be of little use to someone ELSE planning a HONEYMOON (as ours was) in Paris on a budget (three days and two nights, crossing on the overnight boat-train in 1977) . . . ~ ! ♥♥ ! ~ ........................................................... ~ jes ~ ! ♥♥ ! by jesi

Get your facts right. Toronto does not have 4 million people in it. This is not a well-balanced review at all - focusing on very few atttractions. There is a lot more to do there. We were there for 2 weeks - and we only started to run out of things to do after about 10 days. by Delicate_Orchid
I couldn't disagree more. Toronto has some of the best shops and nightclubs I've been to in Canada, and I was lucky enough not to meet any of these 'stuck up' people, but instead loads of lovely, chilled out and interesting new worlders! The cn tower is great, especially the glass floor with all the kids jumping on it, and if you choose the right time, you can have an amazing meal and cocktail for about 50 bucks, halsf the price of an average London restaurant. There is a massive china town with a great vibe, as well as an amazing market in Kensington. That reviewer needs to revisit Toronto with a guide, methinks. Don't be put off! by bernieonfire

Hi not a bad start but you need to include more info, sometimes breaking it down into headings can help i.e. where we stayed (this can include info on the room service, hotel facilities etc), what there is to see (don't forget to include prices if you remember), where to eat.
