Ellaroo - every babywearer should invest!
Review of EllaRoo Wraparound Baby Carrier by cloud46

Advantages: Very comfortable!
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly until you are experienced.

I have used a lot of slings over the years, firstly a ringsling, then a mei-tai, then a stretchy wrap. When my daughter was around 10 months I decided while I loved wrapping her, I didn`t feel she was safe in a stretchy. I started to look around for other ... Read review

Ergobaby carrier.
Review of ERGO Baby Carrier by cloud46

Advantages: Easy to use.
Disadvantages: The price! Worth every penny though!

The Ergo baby carrier costs around £120. Pricey I hear you say? Yes, it may be..but its worth every single penny. The Ergo can be used from birth with a separate infant insert upto around 3 years (or 33lbs). I have been known to carry my then 3.5 year old ... Read review

Good review, however there's alot more information you could have added. A few questions to consider answering would be... How easy is it to wash? Can it be tumble dried? Can you use fabric softeners? What do you mean by spinal damage? Do you mean it holds the baby in the optimal position in an M shape, rather than keeping their legs and spine straightened? This needs to be clarified, and please bear in mind, if you make a claim that other carriers could damage the baby's spine, you need to be able to back it up with a selection of studies that have been carried out comparing them - Articles about babywearing could be useful for this but make sure they are from reputable sources. Does it come with instructions? If so, are they easy to follow? What languages to they come in? There is alot more you could have included, but you have made a good start, and welcome to ciao from a fellow babywearer :) x by fallen_flame

Comfy, versatile, supportive sling makes a happy parent and child
Review of Hoppediz Woven Baby Sling by fallen_flame

Advantages: Easy to clean, one of the safest baby carriers there is when fastened properly
Disadvantages: Longer learning curves than other slings

Specifications as per the Hoppediz website: * The cross twill weave used by us gives the HOPPEDIZ® Baby Sling excellent and even stretch ability in both diagonal directions. This allows the sling to adjust itself optimally to both the baby's and the carr ... Read review

Good gateway carrier - if you can figure out how it works!
Review of Tomy Freestyle Click and Go Baby Carrier by fallen_flame

Advantages: Good way into babywearing
Disadvantages: Stupidly difficult to use! Baby is held too low.

We have this carrier for demonstration purposes in our sling library and I'm going to be honest.... I can't figure out how it works! So this is going to be a short review! I think I've managed to get it together once successfully (and someone else did it ... Read review

Better for younger babies
Review of Amazonas Brazilian Sling by fallen_flame

Advantages: Easy to clean, one of the safest baby carriers there is when fastened properly
Disadvantages: Shrinks in the wash, longer learning curve than other slings

What to say about this sling? It is a good sling, but not quite 'workhorse' material. I think it's better for smaller babies than into toddlerhood. I used this carrier once or twice and found it really hard to get it comfy, though I did find it easy to wr ... Read review

A lifesaver with a colicy baby!
Review of Fisher Price Precious Planet Cradle Swing by lizzie9286

Advantages: lots of speeds and settings, calms a screamy baby
Disadvantages: very pricey, uses batteries

This swing was amazing for both our colicky children aged 1-6 months! It can rock forwards and backwards, and also side to side, at different speeds, so you are sure to find a level your baby is comfortable with. The seat is comfortable and padded, with s ... Read review

An unfortunate carry on!
Review of BabyStart Baby Carrier by Lools_24

Advantages: Low price, ok for occasional use, better suited to "average size" babies
Disadvantages: Total lack of neck support for newborns, complicated to put on, uncomfortable straps

When I was expecting my twin boys the most popular comment/ joke was that Mr Lools and I were going to have our hands full and at times that has proved to literally be the case. Being first time parents Mr Lools and I were totally clueless over any baby ... Read review

Bad for baby's back and pelvis, not worth the money.
Review of BabyBjörn Original Spirit Baby Carries by hcna

Advantages: widely available. Looks funky
Disadvantages: not good for baby's development or comfort,

I bought the original spirit in black shortly after our first child was born. It was a brand I had heard of but done little research into and I wish I had looked into it more before buying rather than going for what looked familiar. The fact that it was ... Read review
