Great Value Turntable
Review of KAM DDX1200 by chelseablue96

Advantages: Build Quality, Value for Money
Disadvantages: None So Far (after a year)

The Kam DDX 1200DJ turntable is a very good value for money piece of kit. Very robust and very good sound quality, easy to mix on and ready for battling right out of the box. People say Technics SL 1200s are the business and indeed they are but until the ... Read review

Rega RP1 delivers on sound, but has platter issues
Review of Rega RP1 by SexySaab

Advantages: Quality product that brings LP's back to life!
Disadvantages: platter issues?(on mine at least)

Had my Rega RP1 for a few months now....as usual sound quality and build are good from Rega, but my only issue is that the platter on my Rega does not run true...the platter wobbles quite a bit when playing 45''s or 33''s...the deck itself is lovely..the s ... Read review

A good record player with added plus of vinyl to MP3 conversion.
Review of ION ITT USB-05 by bobbieal

Advantages: Good sound; compact; USB output
Disadvantages: Needs computer to create digitised versions (MP3 etc)

The motivation for buying the ION iTTUSB05 was to convert some of my vinyl record collection to MP3 format so that I could listen to them on my iPod and in the car. This I achieved, but more on that later. The ION iTTUSB05 is solidly ... Read review

A good honest buy.
Review of Bush MTT1 by Blindog

Advantages: Built in preamp for non-phono systems. Small footprint. Semi-auto operation handy for digitizing.
Disadvantages: Not full size turntable. Tracking weight fixed.

I was looking for a table to play my LP's and singles and at the time my amp did not have a phono input so this seemed an ideal solution. I didn't expect a great deal from the sound but was very pleasantly surprised at it's performance. Probably the be ... Read review

My amazing debut playing vinyl
Review of Pro-Ject Debut by mpsamuels

Advantages: Completely outperforms any possible expectations of equipment in this price range
Disadvantages: A little fiddly to setup and use

The debut name fits this wonderful piece of equipment perfectly in two senses really. On the first count its price clearly aims this at the lower end of the vinyl hi-fi separates market making it the likely choice for many as their first venture into the ... Read review

Good value for money
Review of Bush RPA-01 by LooLaaLaa

Advantages: Very good value for money
Disadvantages: Maximum volume too low, power cable too short.

A lot of Audio for the money
Review of ION Audio PowerPlay LP by kittyonamission

Advantages: Easy to use once everything is sorted out. Recordings of the vinyl tracks are good quality.
Disadvantages: Software seems to have a few flaws. Music amplifies from the arm itself so can be intefering

Not having a turntable of my own, I looked around for ages before deciding to buy this one in December of 2010. I decided to buy it as it seemed relatively easy to use and the fact you can pull the tracks and import them into iTunes seemed really appealin ... Read review

Disadvantages: Plastic, few features, pointless anti-skate

Not for the DJ's... Or anyone.
Review of Gemini XL 100 by FORCE6

Advantages: Cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: Not the best sound quality - belt driven too.

>> QUALITY <<: First of all, why I gave it two stars: There is an anti skate function on this deck, which is supposed to aid the needle towards the centre of the platter – and on this deck, it just does simply nothing at all. Completely pointless. ... Read review

Review of Vestax PDX2000 by jaydan245

Right here we have the Vestax pdx-200,what many believe to be the main rival of the Technics 1210's,so how does it fair up?.The price You would probably be looking at £350 for a single turntable,so it is cheaper then the 1210 but how does it compare? Goin ... Read review
