Perfect location and staff
Review of Hanoi Imperial, Hanoi by aprile

Advantages: The staff manners and the location
Disadvantages: not much. maybe the neighboorhood, but it doesn't matter to me much

Hanoi Imperial Hotel deserves top ranking among hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter for its services and staff performance. I was not impressed with its exterior by the time I arrived at the hotel, yet I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome of the staff. They were ... Read review

Review of Cu Chi Tunnels, Hi Chi Minh City by garymarsh86

Advantages: Gives an amazing insight into the horrific conditions of the tunnels
Disadvantages: May cause problems if you are claustrophobic.

Such interesting info such as 'the Chu Chi Tunnels have actually been widened so that Western tourists' and 'ant hills dotted around...were used as a disguise for air intake ventilation shafts'. So sad that 'The American army took..using...chemical based insecticides and plant killers trying to force the Vietcong out into the open. Many effects of these chemicals are present today in many of the people'! Those 'booby traps the Vietnamese used' sound dreaful :~( No wonder you experienced an 'had an overwhelming sense of claustrophobia' Gary. Extraordinary review with pics alike. Experience at the Sofitel Metropole Hotel Hanoi
Review of Sofitel Legend Metropole, Hanoi by btaspinar

Advantages: Colonial Atmosphere, Famous People, Great Location
Disadvantages: Slow service

The price per night really depends as in most hotels during which night you choose to stay (high season or low season) but the rough estimate would be around 200-300 US Dollars per night in a standard room including breakfast but excluding mini-bar. There ... Read review

I think your review has some potential starting points for you to expand it if you wanted to. For instance, what kind of tours can be organised from the hotel - are they tailored to suit individual needs (i.e. would someone be able to go on one aimed at historical sites, where someone else would be able to have a more scenic tour)? Also what are the room prices per night and do you think they are good value for money? Does the hotel cater more for budget travelling or luxury accommodation, or somewhere in between, and is it easy to find? by KateHurst
