    After my latest reviews I thought a little light relief was called for, there is, after all, only so much I can write about me without boring the socks off you.     Advantages Advantages Its all real - you can cook after all !!

    I was having a good old scoot round the recipes available here on Ciao and I noticed that there wasnt a single one advising people on how to create a good gravy without the use of Bisto or Oxo granules but with the stock from the meat they cook or from the vegetables if it just so happens that were talking vegetarian.. I do use a stock cube for added flavour and seasoning mind you but this is a damn sight better than resorting to these granules available widespread !     Real Gravy Ingredients The quantities given are roughly what I use and is probably enough for about ten people but you can adjust them according to how many people you are feeding, what your personal preferences are, etc. + 1 medium onion + black pepper + 2tbsp cooking oil + 4tbsp flour + assorted vegetables (use what you are having for dinner anyway: an assortment roughly equivalent in size to the onion) + boiling water (full kettle) + a herb suitable for the chosen meat (I often use sage) Utensils + Medium pan + chopping board + sharp knife + wooden spoon + kettle + 3 in 1 blender ... more

    I know this new sort of gravy might sound a bit different but I come from eastern background and my mom and mother in law and even my grandma use to make tastiest gravy ever. The following is my own version; sorry to the vegetarians but this is a meat gravy recipe.
